Hi there, I'm hoping you skin specialists out there may be able to help. A friend has these yellow bubbly looking things one her eyes. Almost like a fat build up. Apparently the doctor says its high cholesterol yet she says she's been tested and just slightly above normal but very mildly. Any advice on products or treatment that may help? I've noticed they are are getting worse. Thanks so much.

These could be a couple of things. It's probably worth finding an advanced electrolysis practitioner and booking for a consultation. They can usually treat these.

From the picture, this looks like xanthelasma. Vic is right, your friend will need to find an advanced cosmetics procedure practitioner in her area to reduce these. Have a look on the Sterex website to see qualified therapists and their whereabouts.
They can be quite stubborn to remove completely but even reducing them can make a big difference to appearance.
Hope that helps

Thanks so much Vic and Sam. That's really helpful. X

You could always check out the British Instititute & Association of Electrolysis for your nearest advanced practitioner.

It looks like it could be Xanthelasma or Syringoma, so I agree with the others, visit the British Electrolysis Association and you will find lots of ACP practitioners who can safely treat it

Really didn't think I'd be needing the advice given in this thread, but having developed a similar, but not advanced condition over the last few months, I found a wonderful AEP locally who has successfully zapped the problem away, hopefully :)

Thanks to all who contributed, including myself who researched the right person via the BIAE ;)
