Hello fellow geeks,

I have this question...i have worked over the years in a couple of different Salons (hair) and have always added colour polish at the end of every refill at no charge. Just $30 AU for the refill. But now i have just started in a up market Beauty Salon where i know the clients can afford it but the thing is i don't want to scare off potential new clients by charging for it. Also the whole reason i am wanting to charge for polish is because my rent is very high and although i am building a new clientelle by offering very cheap full sets i am battling to pay the rent: ( So i figured this might help me financially a little towards the rent and also i consider the extra effort and time it takes me. Any thoughts on this matter?

One more thing...i've been running th $40 full set for 5 weeks now but was thinking of putting the price back to normal...is this wise?

Thanks everyone!

I always charge for polish as it takes more time. Also look at it from the other point of view, why should your clients who dont have polish pay the same as those who do?
