HI, can any one put my mind at ease on a Question.

What 2 products which when mixed, cause a chemical reaction to take place?

Am i right in thinking this would be Liquid and powder because the powder reacts when the liquid mixes with it causing polymerisation. The other being perhaps fibreglass, because it reacts with the activator?

You need an initiator to start off the polymerisation process. This can be various things not just a chemical that is added in. The activator in a fibreglass system is the initiator, but in others producst it may be oxygen, or UV light. The monomer in the l & p systems uses the powder as an initiator. With many of these systems, if left long enough the monomer or resin would cure eventually without the initiator but it would be very slow.

Is that the sort of answer you were after?
