Cleaning wax pot

Hi all, I'm on a 'tidy up/clean' the beauty room day today and my biggest chore is cleaning the damn wax pot. I have the lotus cleaning solution but it's still a pain in the a**.......any tips or tricks I'm missing out on?

Shouldn't really but surgical spirit disolves wax and makes wax pots super clean - you do have to be careful! That is a trick I use but I don't clean with everyday just every now and again when doing a super clean.

Once I dropped my wax pot, wax was EVERYWHERE :O
And I used kettle water to remove the wax
