hi. I've not used clear tips before, and i just wondered, when you have to blend the tip onto the nail, how do you stop it looking 'cloudy' when you buff it to blend it to the nail ?

And can you only really use these tips if they're going to be painted, or can they be left clear? Its just i saw a really nice design on here , and it was done on the clear tips, but you could still tell they were clear if you follow me !!

Thanx, Kate x

Hi Kate,
It will go back clear when you finish off your nail, with a high shine or clear polish. (not forgetting to oil afterwards!!)

Also it's important to use a very clear overlay. Some brands I have tried in the past don't turn out as clear as other brands, and are a bit on the cloudy side (I use Creatives clear acrylic, which is lovely and clear, glass like).
Hope I explained it okay.

luv Sarah x
