Hi All,

I have a client on Wednesday morning who has had the full false nail's on
for many months/year's. My client took the full false nail's off quite some time ago, which has left her own nail's in pretty bad shape to say the least. The worst are her thumbs, that have centre split's in the nail plate, the rest of her nail's are not too bad. Ive been to see her this afternoon to have a look, even though I would prefer that she leave's them to heal, she is adament that she want's enhancement's putting on!!!!

Please help!!!!

hi!
i had a client something smilier to ur case. her nails were in pretty bad shape n she wanted enchancements on.
i recommended she had a few oil based manis first (i use a solar oil) to get her nails into good condition before applyin enchancements. tell her "its best to fix her nails 1st rather than hide the problem"
especially since she had enchancements on for so long, it would be good for er natrual nails to get a bit of TLC
hope this is of some help xx

Hiyah
Couldnt you just cover her nails with a natural nail overlay on them as surely if she has had her nails on for some time her nails must be of length to do this.

IMO I would rather have these splits in her thumbs covered than exposed to dirt and bacteria, you could note on her record card to come back to see you every week so then you can redo the overlay and to ensure no greenies, then as the spilts grow out start nurturing the natural nail by her having manicures etc..
