have just bought all the colour and effects from cnd which I love but would anyone recommend to put a topcoat on as well after the effect. And also I use solar speed spray which I find dries the polish really wellbut I sometimes find it leaves little tiny bubbles in the surface of the nails anyone else had this problem am I spraying to close?

I always use a top coat, normally Super Shiney and then the speed spray to help the drying process, although I understand the new colour range dries even faster than the 'old' range (not got any of the new ones 'yet'!!!)

Are you leaving it at least 1 minute before spraying the nails?
If so and you're still getting bubbles then try spraying from a bit further away, more of a 'mist' than a 'squirt' iykwim :green:

I've got some of the new colours and effects and they are very lovely. I now use a top coat especially since it was recommended by "geeg the Genius" in one of the threads on here. I also use solar speed spray with no problems. I notice the new colours dries faster than the old ones though, and you really need to leave at least 1 minute after applying polish before you spray the solar speed spray. Also when I'm using an effect, I tend to only use just one coat of polish instead of two---i.e base coat, a coat of polish, coat of effect, top coat, solar speed spray and finally with a drop of solar oil at the cuticle area. Hope this helps?

yeah many thanks fo the advice

Definitely use a top coat. The effects are another color, not a top coat. And these bubbles you're talking about, they aren't the oil in the spray, are they? I have many clients who exclaim "there's all kinds of bubbles" a minute or two after I spray, and it's just the oil, it wipes right off. If it's actually in the polish, then I'd do as previously stated, make sure you wait at least a minute after the final nail has received top coat and try further away. I do about 6" or so.

well ive only got like 12 new colours and 6 effects and i love them all. thanks to kelly!!
well i use ridgefiller base coat, one or two coats of colour and either super shiny or air dry top coat
