Hi,
I'm a newly qualified hairdresser to level 3, and I'm freelance which is going really well.
What I was wondering is if anyone knows of any courses i could take to become a more efficient colourist. I Love colouring but I'm sometimes wishing i knew much much more! I'd love to specialise in colour application and correction but cant find any courses.
Does anyone know where would be a good place to look? I'm in Scotland but willing to travel anywhere in the UK.

Thanks in advance xx

what is the brand of colour do you use? you can train with wella, loreal etc.

matrix do courses up and down the uk, they can come to your salon too, the training is excellent.

Thanks for the reply.
I don't have a salon (one day though hopefully :)) so I would have to attend a course somewhere.
I use Wella. I do have some Matrix but i'm phasing it out in favour of Wella because I find Wella more versatile.

i love the kolesten range, fantastic!! lasts brilliantly!!!

go for wella then chick, is there a wella training centre near you?

Me too! Great deep rich colours too.
I don't know if there are any training centres near me and I find their (Wella) website very pretty, but quite useless when it comes to that kind of info. Thats why i was hoping someone might know where i could find out where to look.

ive just had a wee look on there, a few seminars in the north of england but that shows trendy cutting etc.

the site is a bit awkward to navigate!!

it shows the training centrs which are manchester, dublin or london tho
xx

Yes, I found the same info that you did. I might just have to give them a ring, (after crimbo probably) and see what they suggest.
Thanks for your help, you've been really sweet :)

Oh, I just had a look at your profile and you have the same birthday as me, coincidence huh!?
