:irked: hello geeks i wonder if you can help , i took over a treatment room within a hairdressers a yr ago and so far so good ... however the hairsalon is now getting quieter to the point staff hrs have been cut etc

we are having a meeting next week to discuss ideas for getting the salon up to scratch again .

do any of you have any ideas to get people through the door or indeed anything that makes your salon stand out from the others

thanks geeks any advice is appreciated

what about re launching?? changing the colour scheme can be done without spending too much, not sure about how the owner would feel about changing the name of the salon, but may be worth considering. What are the salons strengths?? colour, or latest modern cuts?? this could be promoted as your salons speciality, an relaunching offer could be used to promote this, getting some leaflets printed ( trueprint do 5000 a5 for £89 ) and on the quieter days having the girls with fabulous hair of course, in the busier areas handing leaflets out, being super friendly, with lots of fab advise to offer if asked about is a good idea , get a banner for outside the shop to attract attention from passing trade?? What about having a featured stylist every month that has an offer on his/her strong point, have a board that has the stylists photo up and the offer available advertised. Set up a blog/website that displays all your latest news and offers?? hope any of this is helpfull and the salon picks up x ruth
