cruise ships?

have just recently come on here! am bit confused, i was just wondering if anyone on here had worked on the cruise ships? am currently at college but finish soon and hoping to apply for one, just wondered if anyone had any advice or any tips for applying?

My Mum, a zillion years ago, compared to you (and I'm getting on a bit!) once wanted to work on the cruise liners with Steiner as a hairdresser and was accepted. But her heart lead her and she stayed at home, to be with, as then became my Dad!
