Dark red colours

Hey everyone,

Im just wondering if anyone has an idea of the best colour to use for the picture below. Ive looked at my shade charts and can't see anything that seems dark enough, I always worry that reds are gonna be too vibrant.

The client currently has a clynol 4.3 with about 2" re growth of a 6.

All the Reds ive seen don't go any darker than a 5. I can use wella, l'oreal, clynol or schwartkzopf

I dont think that looks darker than a 5 x

Yeah that's what I was thinking too. I couldn't see any colours on my shade charts that were darker than a 5, that's why I was asking for advice

I use matrix so couldnt advise what shade you should use but if it was my client i would be using mybe 5rr with 5rv

5rr+ in gloss sync matrix providing you don't need any lift on roots x

Majirel 5.62. Looks like there's a slight hint of violet in this shade. I'd probably scatter some fine weaved foils with majicontrast rouge as well

I don't think it's darker than a 5 but if you do want it deeper maybe a 5/2 or 4/2
