Decorating wooden letters

not sure if this is in the right place?

my opening day is drawer nearer (Nov 1st). want to go over next week to decorate the entrance hall a little, have bought some professional posters (75p each) and have printed off an A4 sheet which I'm either going to laminate or frame stating my opening date.

bought 4 wooden letters about A4 size spelling out G U R U
now thought I'd decorate them, either spraying them silver or gold or bronze or paint them.
then thought I could alternate the colours, ie 2 one colour, etc.
then thought I could stick nail art diamantes on the corners or stick some crystals or shells on them.

now driving myself mad about thinking of lots of different ways of decorating them, and arranging them. So suggestions gratefully welcome.

then how should I hang them?

Id cover the lot in rhinestones and hang them reading GURU, I love a bit of bling!

I'd spray them silver or gold and then just cover the front with diamonties
