Hi

I have been researching skin needling for acne scars and can't afford to have it done by a specialist. I would like to hear from anyone who has done this themselves. Also can someone recommend a good roller I can purchase online.

Thanks :)

Hi. I've had this treatment done professionally and also have an at home roller. I haven't been overly impressed with the results (and it's uncomfortable)

Although I can't assist with stockists in the UK, I have had fantastic results with acne scarring using the glycolic cleanser and scrub, vitamin C powder and retinol from Skinstitut. You may be able to purchase on-line at www.skinstitut.com.

Hi,

The problem with home use is that you should only be using up to a 0.5mm and this if pressed hard would only dip into the dermis. Really you need to have professional needling done in a salon or a clinic. From one professional needling session clinical data shows the new collagen can be created for up to 12 months.

If you have a number of professional sessionas you should gain a real improvement to your skin.
