Hi All,

Im just wondering if anyone could advise regarding choosing a decriptive business name.

I am qualified in a few different holistic therapies, nailv treatments and have sports injuries certificate.

I dont offer beauty treatments so was wondering how i can collaborate what i do and make it part of my business name so people know wbat im about and the services i offer.

Thanks in advance

Your business name doesn't need to be literal to be good or effective. Most of the biggest brands in the world aren't.

Agree with BP. It doesn't have to even be related to beauty. After all, what has a piece of fruit got to do with technology?

Rather than trying to incorporate all your services into one long name, perhaps you could use a generic term such as Toothfairy Therapies or Toothfairy Holistic Services.

When people are looking for a specialist service such as sports injuries, they either ask their friends for recommendations or google the type of service and the area they live in. They're less likely to try to google your actual business name.

I agree with BP & AcidPerm, iv learnt recently that the name you want does need to be descriptive at all - whatever service you are offering does not need to be reflected in the name and if anything could be a random word that means something to you or not. As AcidPerm said people will google the type of service they require rather than the name of your business. I personally go with a name that has meaning or substance to me. Hope that helps :)
