Hi has anyone used this? I can't tell if its purply or not?

Also, it's going over the top of a home dye. It was originally highlighted professionally and then hair was home dyed to about a base 5 but obviously its now washing out and looking a bit wishy washey, also no shine to it but can't decide whether to put half a clear diacolour in with it for shine, or will the colour be enough to to both?

I would put it straight over, the clear doesn't make more shine but will dilute the shade. Wishy washy again?

5,12 is a bit purple, but this is good when going over previous highlights. They won't go kaki this way but you still get a cool brown tone. Go for it!

Brilliant thank you was just a bit worried as the person having the colour can't have purple hair for work but as long as its not too obvious it should be fine!
