Dip dying hair

hi guys....i got some replies to my original question but not really had it answered any help appreciated

my question is...im doing 2 colours with the second colour as a dip dye....first colour is brown and the ends will be blonde....i don't want to get the brown on the blonde area....any ideas on how to apply?

Hi Cas, I'd use a really thick conditioner/treatment and slather it on in foil, wrap well and make sure u don't overload the dark so it doesn't run down into it.
When rinsing I'd rinse and lightly s'poo with the foil still in
