Discount for payment upfront?

Hi guys

i was thinking of offering the following offer in my salon would love to know if you guys think its a good or bad idea. I am trying to encourage rebooking.

'Book & Pay for your next treatment today to receive a 10% discount'

I personally would not like this I don't want to pay for something before I get it......I would much prefer a Loyalty card filled out after every treatment working towards a free treatment on say my 10 visit. That is what my Hairdresser does, and I think it would apply to beauty treatments too.

I would never prepay for a service. We sell courses of facials so I suppose you could do courses of other things such as pay for ten blodrys and get one free.
