Does anyone use IBD gels? How do you find them and also what type of UV lamp is best?

I am looking into purchasing the IBD gel nails range and would like to know if people like it? Also in terms of the UV lamps used, there seem to be so many and at all different prices, should I be looking for a specific sort? Thanks

Hi,

Im a long time user of IBD gel, and absoloutly love the product! Its easy to use and looks lovely! They also have a nice colour range!

You should purhase the IBD lamp if you plan on using their system. They come in either a double handed or single handed uv lamp.

Thats great, thank you for your reply. As im new to these products, can u tell me what the soak off gels are about? i want to offer natural overlays only without any enhancement in both french and colour, but there seems to be different sorts of gels. builder gel, gel polish and soak off gels. which would i be using? I know ill learn all this when i do my training but am deperate to know now so i can really start looking. thanks.

You will need to use builder gel, as this adds structure and strength to your nails. It is used for a natural nail overlay, to sculpt nails or for a full set of tips. You could get just clear or pink gel, but it does not have the strength as the builder gel has.

The difference between soak off and the other gel, is that soak off gel, can be soaked off, and the other gel needs to be buffed off. It comes down to personal prefrence.
