Does silver shampoo dry out or damage hair extensions?

It depends on the specific shampoo but some will make the hair feel quite dry.

I always recommend clients not to use a silver shampoo for every wash, alternate with a moisture based shampoo aswell, as normally the blonde hair is dry.

Agree with above it will dry them out

I use purple shampoo on mine to make the pink a bit more lavender, it really does dry out the hair but now I mix it with a conditioner so I get a better coverage and it keeps it softer.

Use a purple coloured semi-conditioner as this won’t dry out the extensions.
