I am 36 yes old and have had grey hair since I was 18 so I dye my roots every 2 weeks
My hair is usually light golden brown which is reddy on me.
I thought I would go lighter and have had high lift tint with foils all over but I don't like how light it is. Coppery blonde.
I would like to go auburn/copper like ashley simpsons used to be. What is the best home colour to use? I can't afford salon prices to do my roots every 2 weeks?
Also what colour will NOT make my roots go pink? And is there a difference between auburn and copper I want a rust colour rather than a red? And finally can I put it on top of the colour I have now or do I have to get it lightened with bleach?? Help!!
or I can just go back to golden brown :(

This is the professional section and we won't advise on home-colour products.

Your hair must be like mine though if you need your roots doing every 2 weeks.

My mistake I realise that now. What colour should I ask for if I go to a salon? Would they be able to do it Or is it a no no for any type of red on grey hair? I'm really worried about roots but love the colour.
Regards
