hi
i am lookin into buying an e-file as it takes me a while to buff pink&white acrylic. Does anyone have any suggestions as to which is a good e-file please? I am guessing i would need some training also? I am in the East of england.
thank you!

i have a purple KUPA 3000 and i love love love it! it runs at about $800 CAD, but its wellllll worth it. my biggest piece of advice when buying an e-file is to pay a little more -DONT CHEAP OUT- .. i had a cheap one in school and it died just in time for me to start my full time postion *how convenient* and i hummed-and-hawwed about how much to spend on a new one. think of it as an investment, instead of a purchase. It'll save you money in the long run going for a more expensive one now.

ps; the KUPA 3000 has 30 000 RPM, a nice lite hand piece and also comes with a foot pedal. i highly recommend it :)

I bought the white Kupa 3000 from NSI but i couldn't get hold of the foot control has NSI no longer recommend this piece of equipment anymore.
I can't give feedback on the e-file yet thou has i haven't used it yet im waiting out until i have sat my course which is with NSI manchester in 2 weeks time. You get a reduced course fee if you purchase a e-file from NSI.

Forgot to add i did try and use it on a few tips but i was all over the place...thats why it has been packed away for the time being, you def need some training in how to use it safely. :)

Thanks so much for your help!

Make sure you get good training as you could seriously burn someone with an e file.

I have a medicool. I find the hand peice a bit heavy because im a weakling but I cant afford a new one now.

Mine has 35 000rpm but Id never use it past 15 000rpm. Theres no need in my opinion. I use more or less pressure with my hand if that makes sense.

HTH:hug:

have a look on salonserve they have some good ones at reasonable prices!

the best e-file i have come across is expensive but very well worth what you pay for. the one which i currently own is the young nails yn-99 model. this e-file is amazing!! the first thing i love about it is the size. it doesnt take much room on my desk. it has a built in holder for the hand piece (also comes with a second one seperate) and for bits. the controls are all flush push button, so no knobs to break off. the hand piece has a twist lock center for fast bit changes and is very light along with absolutely no vibration!!! less problems for carpel tunnel that most techs suffer from. there is an option foot pedal if you wish to buy that. the BEST feature is that you NEVER have bog down (slow down when using like most e-files) so you never have to go to very high rpm...i can do all work in the first two settings for speed(light one has 3 speeds-i use the third speed in light one for most jobs and the first speed in light two for heavy work...i dont need faster rpms because it doesnt slow down with pressure). the other thing i love about this e-file is that on the low settings its not going to cut the clients skin, i had a demo done on me, you can literally run the e-file at speed 3 in light one and not damage the skin!! i can get right to the cuticle area without cutting it!! i LOVE this e-file...you won't find me with anything other. the cost is $450.00 uds but very well worth it.
hope this helps you out.
