The Guild Gazette magazine has recently undergone a face-lift, and one of its most exciting new features is the Professional Development section.
The section is specially designed to give you essential industry information including legal, business, training and industry advice articles, written by top experts as well as dates for training courses and a list of Guild accredited training schools in your area. This section will be included in all future issues of the Guild Gazette.
This is not just a new section of the magazine, it is also a unique development opportunity. After you have read this section, you will have the opportunity to visit the Guild Training International website, www.beautyguildtraining.com and take an assessment featuring questions referring to the articles in this section to earn yourself two CPD points.
You will need to register on the site where you will be provided with a username and password. Once you have logged on using these details, you will be able to take the assessment which will earn you two CPD points. These points will then be recorded in an online diary which you can access by clicking the My CPD tab. This CPD Diary will also automatically record any points earned from GTi courses and you will be able to manually input any points earned from other sources over the course of the academic year. There will be the option of uploading certificates to support this.
This is a great feature for educators in the industry who are required to add to their CPD points throughout the year, as well as being a fantastic resource for any professionals and business owners.
