Hi there geeks, :D

Does anyone use exfoliating mittens for pedicures?

I just wondered how hygienic they were - could you sanitise them the same way as towels by washing them between clients or would you throw them away after each use?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Kx

Good question Karen - I've been trained to use exfoliating gloves during pedis and was wondering the same.

Any advice anyone?

I used to throw mine away but it got quite pricey, but now i soak them and then sanitise them, the feet are all clean and sanitised by the time you exfoliate anyway.

Thank you all for your input.

The cheapest I've found them for is two pound fifty on the Internet. I'd have to change my prices if I throw them away afterwards.

I had thought about sanitizing them and washing them on a 60 wash like the towels, but I'm not 100% certain about doing that and still have a niggling doubt that it could be the wrong thing to do.

Does anyone else have any thoughts on the subject?

Regards,

Karen
