hi all

been lashing a while now, i have to say i am loving them, wearing em, doing em, anything to do with em.

i have done lots now, which are lasting well and looking fabulous, what i am struggling with is, which curl to use when, for example i wear j curl which are fine on me and look really curly, then a friend i used the same on looked fab, but not as curly as it did on me. but i can't gage which ones to use, if you know what i mean. i know i have a little lid when my eyes are open, so thats why i am assuming j curl is fine on me. but then so does the friend i did. i am really struggling getting my point accross.
but does any experience lashes, know what i mean, how do i know what to use when.
i am booked on the next level so hopefully will get lots of tips from that. but in the mean time any ideas very welcome xxx
thanks guys and happy valentines xxx

Hi

I solely do lashes full time and think the best source of lash information is:

www.wakeupinyourmakeup.com

There's a link to a lash forum on the right.

Curl wise, I think for anyone who has tried other curls, J curls are a thing of the past. You'll find most techs have ditched their J curls on the forum.

The J curls mimic the shape of a J, hence their name. C curls mimic the shape of a C. C curls are great, but can be too curly for some people. B curls are inbetween a J and C and suitable for everyone.

I'd say get some B curls and you'll never look back. I didn't! I bought 4 pots of B curls ages ago and have never touched a J curl since. The lashes look so much better.

My sister does lashes as well and she loves the Bs.

After my love affair with B curls, I tried Cs and love them even more. I mainly use Cs. But the only problem with them is they don't suit everyone, you can end up making people looked surprised. That's why i think it's better to start with the Bs then try the Cs.

Thickness wise. A full set of 0.2 looks much better than 0.15. But 0.2 can break some peoples lashes so I tend to do half or a third 0.15 then the rest 0.2. 0.25 are great for special occasions but not for regular use because they will break lashes if overdone.

You can actually mix the lashes, Js, Bs, Cs, 0.15, 0.2 when doing a full set or top up. You'll find you get a much better look when you mix the lashes because natural lashes aren't all the same. Plus it's a good way to use up your Js.

Ooo, there's also D lashes, curlier than a C. I don't use them for my own reasons.

Hope that helps. Feel free to ask anymore.

I've got a fantastic supplier so pm me if you like. I'm not here to push products, just share advice so don't want to be seen to promoting a company.
