Eyelash extensions and itchy eyelids?

Hi geeks would anyone know why the eyelids (with eyelash extensions) get a little itchy at times?....it happens to me sometimes and a few clients have asked me...thank you😚

Are the lashes too close to the skin? Are your clients allowing water to wash over them? I find some clients don't let any water touch their lashes which isn't so good because they pick up dirt and dust, that could cause itching. Or maybe an allergy to the glue xx
