Hi all, just wondering what's the most popular lengths of lashes used? Am a new lasher & the last set I done I used a j curl with a 9, 10 & 11 in 0.15. Is it best to use 3 different sizes as I didn't see much difference in using the 10 also am undecided in which glue between lashbase, flirtes or beauty revolution I'm currently using lashbase sensitive but looking for a quicker setting

Hi,

I use c curl on almost all my clients , length ranging from 8 to 14mm

I use alot of 9 11's and 13's in .20 c curls 15's sometimes usually for the real glamour ladies or if they have very long natural lashes but it depends on the client. Again depending on the clients I use either 2 or 3 lengths. I suppose it's a mixture of what their natural lashes are like what kind if look they want to archive and what you are comfortable with :) x

Thanks, do people not really have a j curl? Also does it matter if the brands of lashes are mixed & what glues do you use

The most popular lengths are in the middle of the range 10,11,12 for individuals. It used to be the longer lengths and thicker gauges but it's all changing now that more people are doing xD Volume Lashes.

J used to be our most popular curl 5 years ago, then 'C', then B-Curls outsold everything else 2 to 1 and it's still our most popular general purpose curl but I think C and D will outsell B soon, especially in the lighter lashes and shorter lengths. We're starting to stock L-Curls next week, I'll be interested to see how they go but I'm expecting them to remain a specialist lash.

Getting the speed of your glue to match the way you work is important, it may be better to first upgrade to something like our Medium Eyelash Glue, it's a super strong, low odour, medical grade glue but not quite as fast as our Ultra Platinum. Using a glue that is too fast for the way that you work can affect the strength of the bond as the glue does not have time to properly bond with the natural lash.
