Hello

I have recently taken over a hair and beauty salon where the facials products could be updated. We were looking at getting a range in that works well but something that clients would ask for, a known brand. One of the girls suggested Clarins but I'm not sure what I think about that, I know It's well respected but I don't know if I've ever been to a salon that's used it. What about Elemis?

Or do you think we will get best performance from something less well known? Is there a best of both worlds?

Thank you in advance

Kimi

For a luxurious brand that does amazing relaxing treatments and training decleor. If you want a brand that work on result base for wrinkles acne scarring etc environ. Nails, shellac all the way!

Hey!
I love dermalogica. if you get alot of facials its a great brand.very easy to retail. if the facials you get are more for relaxation try yonka. its pure luxury and the products work too.

Why dont you ask your clients what type of facials they would like then go from there? Or offer one results driven range and one pampering range. Also you need to look at opening order costs and go from there. Test the brands products what do you like what dont you like?

I use Elemis and it is just great, I currently offer about 8 different facials using a variety of different products based on what the client requires, it is so hard choosing though as there is so much choice about.

Another vote for Environ, great products, training and support at a reasonable price x

When I was choosing my range I contacted a few different companies so I could try out the products first. Then I narrowed it down to 3. Then I chose my 3 favourite clients and gave them a free min facial using the products. I didn't tell them which products were which and got them to fill in a questionnaire regarding price, type of treatments, the products etc.
mine was out of Germaine de Capuccini, dermalogica and Eve Taylor. I adore Germaine de Capuccini and would like to work with them In the future as their customer service is unreal and the samples you get are amazing!! I got thousands of samples this time last year and I've still got loads left. However for my budget I decided to go with Eve taylor. My clients love the products and they also sell candles which you can add into your treatments and massage with them.. Then sell to client!! They sell aromatherapy diffusers aswel so you can help make your salon smell beautiful!!! :)

Hope that helps!!

I just won salon of my area twice over with environ!! It WALKS off my shelf!!
And it works!!!!

Beauty at your finger tips!

Hi Kim,

I hope you don't mind but I'd love to chat to you about our new face and body brand Katherine Daniels Cosmetics. Here's a little bit more about the brand...

It was designed by two skincare specialists, specifically for British salons to treat the most common skin types and conditions, whilst taking into consideration client lifestyle, environment and our climate.

Not only are the products and treatments affordable for your clients (with fab efficacy results), but we offer flexible launch deals with a great margin on retail products.

You can see some testimonials from some of our salons on our blog if you want to know more.

If you want any info, please PM me or email me at [email protected]
