Can anyone tell me what the law is regarding feminine hygiene bins at work!
Do you all have them and if not what do you use?

The answer to this one will be down to your local council and their rules and regulations,
you would be best to ask them hun, hth

I had someone come to my salon today (not from the council) and told me that it is law to have one of these bins.
Couldn't find anything on the internet but will have another look. Thanks

I didn't think it was law to have them, but quite happy to be corrected if I'm wrong.

Actually now it's starting to prey on my mind a little. Hmmm. May have to do a little googling now:rolleyes:

we have them at our training centre in Birmingham and i do believe you have a duty of care to dispose of feminine hygiene correctly the company we are with is bhygenic and they are really really cheap around 2 quid a week we went with there pink bin as some of their profits go to breast cancer charity:):) they offer a great service nation wide i would recommend them there is a bit about the law here B Hygienic - for all your washroom needs
