Can anyone tell me what the difference is in gel varnish or soak off gel for natural nail overlay? Thanks!

Gel polish doesn't offer any strength so you would use it over your buff-off gel or L+P enhancements.
I use Defianze gel polish over my Brisa enhancements, it gives a beautiful finish.

Thanks, can I ask then what's the point to it, why not just use a good nail polish and top coat? Is it just that it's dry straight away, does it chip much less than polish? How do you remove it? Thanks.

The fact that it is instantly dry is a massive advantage....i file the colour off and then re balance the nail and re-apply colour if the client wants it.

I love using enamel, its quicker than using coloured gel...its cheaper...its easier to remove but that drying time bugs me and although enamel lasts very well over overlays it kind of wears off at the free edge...where as colour gel stays perfect for 3-4 weeks easy.

I agree with everything Angie's said...
My clients love the fact that they can have colour and not have to wait for it to dry, plus it doesn't chip or wear off.
They've told me it's the "best thing since sliced bread" :green:

Great, thank you! x
