Gelish 6g lamp question!

I have the 6g lamp and love it. I've noticed though that sometimes the sensor is automatic when the client puts their hand in and other times the light doesn't come on and I have to press one of the time buttons. Is there a setting that you can change wether its automatic or not that I don't know about?!

You can deactivate the sensor - I think you pull the lead out of the back when your hand is already in, then plug it back in. That way the lamp only works when you press the button on the back. Hope that makes sense, I'm not v good at explaining! Xx
