Gelish problems on ridged nails!

Hi Geeks!

Just a quick question to pick your brains about Gelish on ridged nails. I had a client that has quite bad ridged nails and she wanted 'do I look buff' . Prepped nails as usual, ph bond, thin coat of foundation, dry brush, then thin coats of colour. I found the gelish just sat in the ridges so the finish wasn't smooth and the colour uneven ah!! Suggested a thin coat of builder hard gel to even out nails before application but she doesn't want hard gel on her nails.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Perhaps try structure gel after foundation but before the colour coat? This should help give the nail a smooth finish when you apply the colour. X
