I have just left a salon room due to rent constantly going up and it not ring worth my while anymore!
I've only recently qualified in acrylic nails and it instantly became my main treatment whilst all others faded out as I didn't hav time fr them. I'm now thinking of scrapping all other treatments and become a nail technician spending the money from selling equipment on further training etc as I am now ADDICTED to nails!!
Is specialising in just nails the way forward or do I 'need' other treatments?
Opinions please!xx

There are so many nail technicians I don't think you need to have other treatments if you don't want to. My love is nails, that's what I've trained in and I'm not interested in offering any other treatments. So I say go for it if its what you want!

The beauty of our jobs is that we can pick and choose what we want to do, when we want to do it.

As previously said, lots of people do just nails - why not! If its what you love to do and it's what's keeping you busy :)

Xx

Nails it is!! Rest of this year will be spent head in books and training at very chance! Thanks ladies :) xx

I started off with nails and I have added spray tanning, massage and threading along the way.

I did stop doing nails after my first son was born 2 years ago as I lost my passion for it, but I think that was down to me suffering with PND.

My husband made a suggestion of adding new treatments so I didn't do just one treatment. So I did, but I must say I have my passion back in nails and I always seem to push this more when advertising etc. I have a new found love of nail art.

Go for it.... You'll love it <3 xx
