Hello all
I have been a qualified Electrologist (and Beauty Therapist) since 1992, and do a lot of Electrolysis which I love. However I'm just wondering as times have changed, whether other therapists wear gloves to do Electrolysis treatments? When I trained we didn't wear them, but it was a long time ago!

I wear them and I was taught that you should wear them. Hht x

Most insurance providers stipulate gloves must be worn or insurance is invalid. I trained in 1997 and gloves weren't optional then, I have been teaching it for 12 years and all awarding bodies (vtct, c&g,cibtac) state gloves must be worn x

I always wear gloves for electrolysis
