Hi, I've been looking into hair courses for a while and I am not sure what the best route would be. I currently have a full-time job which means I can only take part-time courses.
I am looking to learn the basics of hairdressing to allow me to get into the industry and gain some experience by practising on friends and family. I've taken a look at gaining an NVQ such as through Saks Academy, however someone recently suggested I take smaller (non-NVQ courses) in order to build up my skills instead, as taking an NVQ is more time consuming and more expensive.
It would be really good if anyone could let me know their opinions or recommend anywhere within West London/Central London.
I'm also interested in beauty courses and consequently I've been looking into courses which cover both - but I'm not sure if these will provide me with enough knowledge and experience!
Thank you in advance!
