Hair Courses - Bridal/Evening hair

Hey Salon Geeks...wondered if you could help me out?

I'm looking for a course which just involves putting hair-up and styling with or without hair extensions...does such a thing exist?

I've been accepted for skin care & make up which I will then follow on to do Bridal/Evening make up...

I wanted to be able to offer a hair & makeup package for when I go mobile - plus my other half is a photographer so we'd kind of work together advertising each other.

Do I need to go thru a whole 2 years + of hairdressing course?

Heya, usualy to get onto specialised cources you have to have your NVQ2 hairdressing which is usualy a two year cource. If you are interested in hair maby have a look into doing this, you may fall inlove with hair and realy enjoy it. Why not go along to your college and have a chat witht he hairdressing section xxxx

Im not a hair geek, like you pammiid, I do beauty and make up. But I did go on an intensive course to do hair up. I did mine in Worthing with Melanie Lee. So you can do a short course like this without being a hairdresser.

thanx all for your replies - i have found the the ctacademy in scotland do long hair styling and dressing techniques and i don't need to be a h/dresser

caledonian therapy academy - has anyone used them?

hi another for you to look at would be your local sally or salon services they are offering a course for up do's that you dont need to be a hairdresser to do
