Hi All
Im really in need of some advice, I've been qualified in hair extensions nearly a year and I've only ever done full heads, I've got a client in on Thursday for a half head but her hair is quite thin....long but thin, how would i space them out to get maximum thickness for her? I tried telling her a full head would be best but she only wants half so im putting in 100 bonds. Is it best to start from the bottom and work up? Or miss a row do a row? Make sence? Thank you so much in advance xx

I go in rows and place them with gaps like that x
But that's if it's just for thickness not length x

What method are you doing?
As the above shows yes you could space each strand out using itips. If I'm using prebonded I cut the bonds in half and still do a full head but with half the weight x

I would start from the bottom and miss a row

Half a head is much better if her hair is fine, especially if it's long. I would do row by row then all the extensions are in the lower part of the head and won't show on top.
