Hairdresser in need

i want to go mobile as a hairdresser but very scared. i will be in an area where i dont know any1. how do i start out. i have been working in a salon for 6years, if i cant go mobile i need to find a nice salon in and around milton keynes/ Northampton, can any1 help:lol:

contact the FHBF( freelance hair and beauty federation) , they have local meets and training , basic fee is about £ 50 a year , always on the end of the phone for advice . You will need to have up to date personal liability insurance and register with the inland revenue( they do free start up basic business courses really good for small individuals) also register for NI as you will need to keep up national insurance to make sure you get your pension .
And you will need to advertise ,flyers , post office windows ,yelow pages etc,,,
