Heated booties in pregnancy

Hi I have a client in for a spa pedicure today. Is it safe to use heated booties in the treatment. She is in her last trimester. Xxx

I personally wouldn't. Chances are that in the third trimester she already has oedema in the feet and ankles, she'll be hot and as today is set to be the hottest day of the year so far I can't imagine she would be very comfortable x

Although I've just noticed you're in Aberdeen so not sure how hot it'll be up there lol but were set for temps in the 20's today! Having said that if there's any oedema present I still wouldnt recommend using them x

Unfortunately not so hot here as usual. I was going to leave the heated booties so thanks very much def know to leave them now xxx
