Ok, here's the story..
I dyed my hair red a few years ago..it kinda toned down to ginger then i dyed it brown. I wanted a new colour so i decided to bleach it myself
It went ginger. I knew that would happen anyway but i thought if i just kept bleaching it more it would eventually lighten, but after trying so many times i just realised it wasn't getting the ginger out or turning it blond/lighter. I just had it turned back browny red and then dyed over the fringe purple. I liked it for a while but it faded and looked horrible so i decided i'd try using a box of prelightener and bleach my fringe only blond. It actually worked! But it still has wee ginger bits..it's definately more yellow than ginger tho :green: but how did it work? was it because i did it over purple? And my question is, i suppose, what should i do about my ruined hair? Lol xx
