In the shop we use badger airbrushes, mostly just for french manicurea as nail art with them has seemed to of died a death. Any hoots just lately one of the aribrushes is refusing to work properly, paint is constantly coming out of it even when the trigger is not pulled back. It then works for a minute and plays up again. It's been thoroughly cleaned many times but is still happening. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Sounds like the spring has gone, best thing to do is call badger and arrange to have the brush serviced.

Badger airbrushes have a little white washer that sometimes needs replacing if it gets crushed (overtightening) - have you checked to see if this has happened?

Also, check the needle is sitting correctly and is pushed forward enough - one tiny bit of paint in the nozzle can stop it from being in the correct position and this will cause it to spray paint when it should just be air.

It really does sound like a blockage though, you'd be amazed at the trouble the tiniest speck of dried paint can cause.

Hope you manage to get it sorted - it's not cheap sending it off for a service!

thanks for answers, the thing is completely clean i've taken it apart so many times, and the little washer is there, so are all the other parts. it seems though that when it is 100% clean it doesnt work so well, it's now working since we've used it a few times and not cleaned it so thoroughly!
Damn the technology haha!
