Hi, I'm new to the nail industry and I am looking for some help.....
Can anyone tell me what files and blocks are best to use for what??
What are your preferences???
Thanks!! :)

There are many different types of file, you must choose the right grit size for what you are doing, basically the higher the grit the less it will file, its more gentle for tha natural nail the lower grit number ie. 100 grit is very coarse and would be used on acrylic etc. I love boomerang files, they are slightly rounded rather that straight, and foam ones I like best too. hth

Have you been on a training course?

A good course should cover what grit files to use for what purpose.

I can see on another thread you have that you are just starting.... when are you starting your course?
The sort of info you are asking is covered very early on in any course and lists what all the files and blocks are used for. It will also tell you what grit to use and when.
The tutor will not expect you to know this...:)
