I'm a mobile hairdresser & beautician, and have been looking at getting my own shop. Problem is, I have clients up between my home town & 25 miles from it. I'm not sure if I should find somewhere in between & risk losing clients! Or, stick to my home town & bite the bullet. My home town literally has hundreds of salons, so it's very dog eat dog! Has anyone experienced this before, and if so, what's your advice? I have been offered to rent a desk in my home town & also do hair there, however the rent I will pay every day can cover a shop but I won't have all my clients. Then a friend has asked me to go into business with her, but there is no beauty room in the shop she works in & is thinking of taking over, however this shop is in between where my clients are located! Help me my heads going to explode!
