Hi - I have had a email, booking in for an eyebrow shape/tint and mini Manicure. This will be my first proper client, which is very exciting.
I am a little worried as I dont know wether the client is Male or Female, as Im going to there house. I asked for there name and they called them self Minty? but the email address was Michael?
I dont mind doing treatments on men, but am worried as I dont know them.
Should I take some one with me, when I go to do the tint test the day before? What does everyone else do and how do you go about asking them wether they are female or male without sounding rude?:?:
Thank you

The client wants a tint dosnt he /she? then this person should have a patch test with you 48 hors before the treatment.. wether they have had a tint before elsewhere.. you still should carry out a patch test.

I would def bring someone with you if you are going to their house anyway.
hope you get on ok x

I find that people are far more appreciative if you are open with them, i would pick up my phone and ask the question, im sure they wouldnt be offended, do you advertise a unisex service? I do men and women in salon but dont advertise that i do, most male clients let me know at booking that the appointment is for a male, maybe its someone using their bf/husbands email? if not, i would be careful about being alone at his home...as you know most clients are lovely, but you occaisionally come across a fruitloop or two.lol xxx
