Help with clay canes

i would really appreciate it if some one could tell me how to apply the clay canes so they actually look good. when i do them they look ok but not like they do in magazines. i pretty new at this so i know i need more practice but advice would still be appreciated. thank you

Are you using L&P? Are they on tips? give us a quick run through of how you are doing them at the moment and what problems you are having with the finished look

Hi, I just watched a fab tutorial on the clay canes using gel, I'm not sure how to add the link but if you do a search on here type in fimo and it will be in the list, hth.
