Hidradenitis suppurativa?

Does anyone have any experience of this condition? I have a client who has recently been diagnosed with it and its really getting her down. I wonder of people know of treatments that have helped etc?

Yep. As an acupuncturist I've had a couple of clients with this condition. I think one only got symptoms at periods of stress. They did well with treatment and it all cleared up. The other was longterm chronic but acupuncture along with meds certainly controlled things but still with the occasional flare up.

Yes they were both clients I treated with acupuncture.
The chinese diagnosis will vary from person to person so the points used in treatment will be different for each person, but the overall aim is the same..to reduce the flare up symptoms and to reduce the tendency for flare ups to happen.
