Hi

I’ve got dark brown hair and had some highlights put in over the weekend, in the sun they really shine golden which makes them stand out a lot.
Is it possible to ask my hairdresser to put some toner over them, would this make them more of a caramel colour? I don’t want them to look too light...I’m useless when it comes to hair! lol

Thanks in advance for any advise :)

Highlights are meant to stand out, lol.
If you think they’re too light, pop back to your hairdresser and explain your concerns and I’m sure they can easily tone them down a little for you.

Thank you :) lol yes I do still want them to be visible but it’s just when the sun hits them they look really brassy if that makes sense.
I will ask at my next appointment and see about getting them toned down a bit
