Holiday entitlement

Hi guys. I've worked out one of my girls is entitled to 16.8 days holiday pay. Iv checked on the gov website & I can include bank holidays into that 16.8 days. Can anyone tell me if they do that/what the benefit of that is?

Basically do you close bank holidays?

If Yes - You can deduct these from holiday entitlement but obviously she will be paid for them.

If No - You can still force to have bank holidays off and take it out of her entitlement and again pay her for them or just leave it as a normal working day keeping her full entitlement in place.

i think that's the 'basics' of it.
