i may be able to subcontract work from the hotel where i am employed at the mo, just wondering how it works & also where i stand with the law, am i classed really as mobile? :rolleyes:
 
best thing is to call ACAS they can tell you the pros and cons etc!

You have to see what they are going to provide you i.e just the room or products as welll. Will they take your bookings and/or advertise your services!

Can you afford to take the risk of going self employed - is there enough business to keep you busy?

Do you enjoy a stressfree life going to work and being able to switch off when you get home?

Weigh up all your pros and cons first then find out the legalities from ACAS.

Self employed you will be responsible for handling all your accounts and VAT invoices (if VAT registered) and you need to pay your own NI and Tax.

If your looking for a loan, mortgage or car finance in the next 12 months its not a good idea as you will struggle to get the finance.
