How many clients before you ventured on your own?

Quick question ....... I have a healthy clientele both in and out of the salon I work in. Many I think may follow,,...

How many clients did you guys have before you set up shop? Hair and beauty.....

Are you talking about setting up in a salon or working from home?

I was pretty much fully booked all day every day before I looked at premises. Once I did, my profits and spending money went into the salon leaving a lot less for me.

If you're working from a home salon, obviously your overheads are going to be a lot less.

If going into premises, there's a lot of advice on here regarding the ongoing costs of a salon.
