How to get rid of unwanted blue tones in blonde hair

My client has self coloured her hair, the same she has always used, box colour ash blonde. This time It has come out mostly blue toned. I wondered what would be the best way to neutralise the blue so she can have her lovely light blonde back?

It will fade with a couple of washes try a clarifying shampoo.

Lesson learnt I think for your client

It will probably wash out with a good clarifying shampoo, but if it doesn't, try doing a color glaze with a copper tone. (orange neutralizes blue)
